This Rolex watch is in overall excellent condition with surface wear to the bracelet, case and bezel. Bezel has micro dents between 50 and 5 consistent with the wear of the watch.

The classic styling of the iconic Air-King is re-imagined with the newer-model ref. 116900. With a larger 40mm case and a sportier dial, the ref. 116900 takes on an aesthetic that is more on par with a traditional sports watch, rather than a dress reference. However, the ref. 116900 still maintains several design cues from its dressier predecessors with a smooth bezel and a simple, time-only movement. Many collectors will delight in the details of the dial, which resembles the cockpit instruments developed by Rolex for the Bloodhound Super Sonic Car with similar Arabic hour markers filled with lume and a similar green and gold Rolex logo.

Excellent buyer experience. Bob’s made sure I was the one purchasing the Air King and not someone else who may have obtained my credit info. Watch was shipped the next day via Fedex as advertised. Description of watch was actually understated in a good way. Rolex was in even better condition than advertised I assume in an attempt to manage expectations which were happily exceeded.
