The Zenith Daytona is a cult favorite among many collectors for its place in Rolex history. The ref. 16520 was the first Cosmograph Daytona to run on a self-winding movement, which was manufactured by Zenith and adjusted in-house by Rolex to remove the date aperture and to change the BPH to 28,800. Also referred to as the "El Primero", the calibre 4030 is a unique movement within the Rolex catalog. Today, the 16520 is a prized collector's item among those in-the-know, both for its use of the El Primero movement and its stunning all-steel finish. The example presented here today is in excellent condition and is a great chance to add the iconic Zenith 16520 Rolex to your collection.
