The Rolex Air-King is a member of Rolex's series of "Air" watches including the Air-Lion, Air-Tiger, and Air-Giant. As its name would suggest, the Air-King was designed as a pilot's watch and was inspired by the courageous feats of the British Royal Airforce during the 1930's. The 36mm Oyster case is designed to withstand high altitudes as well as depths of up to 330 feet, making this timepiece an ideal companion for pilots. The stainless steel case is topped with a smooth bezel and a silver dial set with index hour markers and sweeping hands. The name "Air-King" is written across the dial in a sophisticated font, adding to its classic design. A sturdy Oyster bracelet made of flat stainless steel links and a accompanies the case and provides a secure hold whether you're soaring high above the clouds or playing a round of golf.
